Design Your Work Space
Your work space is not just the space where you need to slog for endless work hours to earn your daily bread and butter. Instead, your work space reflects your personality. So, it would only make sense if you put in some effort to design your work space. Here are some tips that will help you with the same.

Before you start designing your work space, one thing that you must ensure is cleanliness. Cluttered or messy work areas in no way connote that you have been head deep in work. Instead, a cluttered work area will only portray you as a messy person. So, try to keep all the things in place and maintain a neat and tidy work area.

When you start doing your work space, the first thing would be to select a theme. You can add on whatever you require at the work station based upon that theme. If you want your workstation to look feminist then doing up the area in shades of pink would be a good idea. However, if you want it to appear funkier, you can go in for abstract patterns instead of block colors.

You need to be very careful while selecting a theme for your work area. You just cannot go about using anything and everything because it is your office after all and not your home. So, whatever theme you choose, there should be a certain formal tone. Do not use overtly informal themes as they do not gel well with the overall décor of the office.

After you have chosen a particular theme, the next obvious would be to layout your wok station in accordance to the same. Doing up the walls is going to be the first step in this direction. You can color up the walls of the office cabin in an according shade. However, if you do not want to change the complete color, you could simply paint a graphic on walls that is in accordance with the theme.

You also have the option of sticking up posters or bills that reflect your nature and personality. If you are creative, you could even design your own posters. Next, comes the furniture. The furniture plays a crucial role in determining the overall look of your work area. Go in for furniture that suits the overall theme. For instance if you want to create a creative and modern looking work space, then you could go in for leather couches, bean bags and designer tables. Or, if you want a more formal feel, go in for vintage furniture.

You can complete the whole look of your office by taking all the minute details into consideration such as stationary, mouse mats, coasters, book shelves and the like. Try these tips and you will be able to design a fabulous work area for yourself.
